My All State Quarterback Got Arrested Before Our First Game…

Our team was coming off our BEST season in five years…

Making it to the second round of the playoffs…

Setting multiple state and school offensive records…

And everyone was coming back for their senior year.

But while I was SO EXCITED to score a ton of points in the upcoming season…

As our season was approaching, I grew increasingly filled with terror and anxiety.

I had a HUGE Secret That I’d Been Keeping From Our Coaching Staff…

Our offense revolved around one player…

Our quarterback.

Now lots of teams build their offense around one player…

But not as many teams build the ENTIRE offense around one player.

During last season my coaches would say our offense was easy to stop if “we could get to the quarterback”…

Because the Monday of our first REAL game…

Our resource officer came onto the practice field and arrested our All-State Quarterback.

“It’s like we buried one of our sons” …

That’s how my head coach described loosing our starting quarterback…

And he asked me if we had a back up plan for the game?

I told him that we didn’t, but I was willing to do anything it took to score points on offense…

And I promised I’d find a way to build an offense NOT designed around one player.

Well that cheered him up a lot, and he went back to worrying about stopping our opponent from scoring…

And the very next day I began looking for solutions to my scoring problem.

But Here’s the Problem: Nothing Seemed to Help!
